Decodable Books
The Decodable Books Collection is useful for young readers of all abilities; however, it is especially useful for those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Decodable books are written in a manner that supports reading development using a structured, evidence-based approach. Readers learn to "decode" by "sounding out" words using knowledge of letter sounds and spelling patterns.
English as a Second Language
The library collection includes materials to help English learners at different levels. Topics include grammar, exam preparation (TOEFL, IELTS, Canadian citizenship etc.), idioms, listening, pronunciation, reading and vocabulary.
