Peterborough Public Library Celebrates Local Voices with Launch of Community Ties Anthology
The Peterborough Public Library invites the community to celebrate the launch of Community Ties, the very first Writing Circle Anthology, now available through the Library’s CloudLibrary digital collection.
The launch event will take place on Wednesday, October 29, at the Peterborough Public Library, and will feature live readings, conversation, and light refreshments.
Community Ties showcases the work of both past and present members of the Library’s Writing Circle - an inclusive group where writers of all experience levels gather to share ideas, stories, and support. The anthology brings together a diverse range of voices, styles, and genres, all connected through the central theme of community.
“This collection is a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the connections that form when people come together to tell their stories,” says Karen Bisschop, Community Development & Outreach Librarian. “We’re thrilled to see our Writing Circle participants published and to share their words with the wider Peterborough community.”
Copies of Community Ties can be borrowed digitally through CloudLibrary and are accessible with a Peterborough Public Library card.
