Your Ptbo Library card allows you to borrow physical and digital titles from the Library, and now you can use your card at Cavan Monaghan, Douro-Dummer, Kawartha Lakes, Otonabee-South Monaghan, Selwyn, and Trent Lakes Public Libraries too!

Renewals and Holds
You can renew borrowed items or place holds on items using your library card:
- In person or by phone during regular library hours
- Online using my account
Please note: Once you renew an item you will not receive an overdue notice for the new due date. Please make note of your new due date so you can return your items on time.
Returns
Items my be returned using the outdoor return access at the top of the ramp or the indoor return access across from the elevator.
Email Notifications
The Library can send you notifications about your holds, overdue material, service interruptions and due dates. If you would like to receive these notifications please call the Library or visit the Check-Out Desk to update your account.
Lost or Damaged Materials
If items are lost or damaged, the Library charges fees to replace or repair them.
