Local History and Genealogy
The Peterborough Collection
Located in the quiet study area at the back of the library, the library's local history collection - also known as the Peterborough Collection - includes books, newspapers, maps, cemetery records, directories and other historical material about well known people, organizations and institutions of the city and county of Peterborough. Some material from surrounding counties is also included.
Browse the Peterborough Collection or ask for help at the Information Desk.
If you are not able to come to the library, you may submit a local research request for additional help for a fee.
