 Curbside Crafts

We are excited to announce a new program this summer - Curbside Crafts! Each week in July and August to we will be offering a take and make activity for families with children of all ages.

Curbside Crafts will be available for pick up on a first-come basis on Thursdays during our Curbside Pickup hours from 1-pm and 5-pm.

 Peterborough I Spy - weekly winners

This summer we're all staying a little closer to home, but that won't stop us from exploring our own community. We have chosen several sites in Peterborough that we want to share with you.

We'll send you a new set of clues each week so that you can try to decipher the weekly mystery location, take a selfie there, and send it to us for a chance to win a prize. Sign up for our Peterborough I Spy contest on your own or play as a team with family and bubble-friends!

How to participate:Confederation Park

  1. Sign up to receive our weekly clues by email.
  2. Put on your thinking cap and some walking shoes.
  3. Take a selfie of the mystery location - creativity gets you extra entries!
  4. Reply to the weekly clue email and attach your creative photo.
  5. Pat yourself on the back for getting out and about this summer!

 Storefront Stories

Take a stroll and read a story, page by page, in the windows of stores throughout the downtown.

Start your journey at the Main library and read along the trail of story pages displayed in 11 storefront windows leading you from the library to the Silver Bean Café. For an added bonus, show your library card to the staff at the Silver Bean when you buy an ice cream and get free sprinkles to celebrate!

 TD Summer Reading Club
The TD Summer Reading Club is running in an online format this year. It is a great way to keep children reading and exploring books all summer long. Children will be able to register and participate through the TD Summer Reading Club website, which launches on June 15, 2020.
