LinkedIn Learning for Library (formerly Lynda Learning) is an online library of over 16,000 courses that teach you various skills, whether you want to master office software for work, or learn a skill like photography or game design for a hobby.

Course completion certificates are available to download.

LinkedIn Learning Overview

Get Started on a computer
  1. Access LinkedIn Learning on your computer
  2. Click get started and enter your library card number and PIN on the next screen. click continue.
  3. LinkedIn Learning will ask you to provide some information to tailor your learning on this platform. click Sounds Good
  4. Select the topics of study that interest you - LinkedIn recommends a minimum of three selections. Then click continue.
  5. You can set a weekly learning goal on the next screen or skip this step by clicking maybe later
  6. You are now ready to start learning!

Get started on a device

  1. Download the app from the app store logo App Store or the Google Play Store icon Google Play Store  
  2. Open the app and tap sign in
  3. On the next screen tap sign in with your library card underneath the spot for an email address
  4. Type Library ID ptbolibrary in the open box and tap continue
  5. Verify your library card by entering your 12-digit library card number and PIN number and tap continue.
  6. You are now ready to start learning!
