- Members can borrow up to 5 instant titles per month with their library card. Borrowing limits reset on the first day of each month.
- Members can borrow 5 flex titles per library card at a given time. Returning a flex title allows you to borrow a new one.
Library Tip: We recommend you try to borrow as early in the morning as possible, since our Daily Lending Budget Limit resets at midnight.

Get started on a computer
On your first visit you will need to create an account by clicking on the Get Started Today button.
- Access hoopla on your computer
- Enter your Email, and create a password 8-40 characters long, then click Agree
- Once logged in, click on the cog in the top right corner and select Library from the menu bar to connect your account to your library card
- Start typing Peterborough Public Library in the space provided and select our library from the drop-down list
- Enter your library card number and PIN and click Save.

Amazon app Store - Open the app and log in. If you have not created an account, tap Sign Up
- Enter Peterborough Public Library (ON) or select it from a list.
- Enter your 14 digit library card number (without spaces), PIN, email address and select a password.
- Click the box to allow Hoopla to verify and exchange your Hoopla registration information with PPL and click next.
- Select Sign up.
