Hellosaurus
The Hellosaurus BingePass was designed by early childhood experts for kids ages 2-8 to provide a fun and engaging interactive learning experience. Kids will learn through stories, games, and videos by award-winning creators.
BingePasses provide access to extra content available on hoopla such as magazines, documentaries, and tv shows. When you check out Hellosaurus, you get unlimited access to everything in this BingePass collection for 7 days. BingePasses are considered an instant title borrow and will count toward your monthly checkout total.
- Members can borrow up to 5 instant titles per month with their library card. Borrowing limits reset on the first day of each month.
Library Tip: We recommend you try to borrow as early in the morning as possible, since our Daily Lending Budget Limit resets at midnight. If you are unable to download the title during the day, try again the next morning.
Get started on a computer
On your first visit you will need to create an account by clicking on the Get Started Today button.
- Access hoopla on your computer
- Enter your Email, and create a password 8-40 characters long, then click Agree
- Once logged in, click on the cog in the top right corner and select Library from the menu bar to connect your account to your library card
- Start typing Peterborough Public Library in the space provided and select our library from the drop-down list
- Enter your library card number and PIN and click Save.
- Now that you are all set up with a Hoopla account, click on Browse located to the left of the search bar at the top of the screen.
- Select BingePasses
- Click on Hellosaurus and then select Borrow
- Now you can click on Play Titles - this will redirect you to a page with a QR code for you to download the Hellosaurus app to gain access.
Get started on a device
- Download the hoopla app:

Amazon app Store - Open the app and log in. If you have not created an account, tap Sign Up
- Enter Peterborough Public Library (ON) or select it from a list.
- Enter your 14 digit library card number (without spaces), PIN, email address and select a password.
- Click the box to allow Hoopla to verify and exchange your Hoopla registration information with PPL and click next.
- Select Sign up.
- Now that you are all set up with a Hoopla account, tap on More at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll until you see Hellosaurus. Tap on Hellosaurus.
- Press Borrow and then Play Titles.
- You will be redirected to download the app where you will be able to access Hellosaurus.
