The Peterborough Public Library Foundation has been raising funds to support the Peterborough Public Library since 1995. The Foundation aims to provide funding for innovative projects that are identified as priorities by library staff for which no other source of funding is available.

Why Donate to the Library?

Your donation to the Peterborough Public Library Foundation helps in so many ways. It will be used to fund programs that introduce children to the joy of reading; help new Canadians to succeed in our community; bring the library to homebound seniors, and much more.

Municipal tax dollars alone cannot do it. Your gift, big or small, makes a difference. Many donations commemorate a special event or honour a special person. The Foundation will work with you to establish the type of donation that best suits your needs.
