Visiting Library Service

Your Library will come to you!

The Visiting Library Service (VLS) is a free delivery service to City of Peterborough residents who are homebound or living in a care facility due to age, illness or disability. The service may be contracted for a short-term or long-term basis. It is intended for those who are unable to visit the library and who have no caregiver assistance in picking-up and returning library materials.

Our Library staff help select titles - a range of formats is available

  • Regular and Large Print Books
  • Audiobooks on CD, MP3-CDs, Playaways
  • Music CDs

Materials will be delivered and picked up by our Visiting Library Service Volunteers.
